It was a great first look inside our medical facility construction for our Board of Education members! They toured the expansion project before this evening's Board of Education meeting. We are about 45% of the way done and look forward to an August completion date!

We are #BuckeyeProud of all of our alumni, but it hits differently when your alumni are working on your construction project! This picture features Drew Harding (1999 HVAC-R) and Bryer Resh (2024 HVAC-R), who recently installed all of the ductwork in our medical facility addition. Both work for Metal Masters. They are two of many former BCC students who are leaving their mark on our new building! We are working on a feature story to highlight some of these workers. Stay tuned!

Congrats to April's Adult Education Student of the Month, student Lita Carpenter. Carpenter attended BCC in high school and enrolled in the Medical Assisting program to obtain more skills for a career with family-friendly work hours. She volunteers at the Greater Dover- New Philadelphia Food Pantry. Carpenter’s instructor, Mrs. Sandy Moss, nominated her for the honor. “At the beginning of the year, Lita was the only student in my class with no medical background. She was very determined to complete the class. She has worked very hard and will make a great medical assistant,” commented Moss. Upon graduation, Carpenter hopes to land a job as a medical assistant. Carpenter and her husband share four children and are expecting a fifth.
