Landscaping students must be able to

  • Read and comprehend information and instructions as presented in class

  • Meet safety requirements to operate equipment and use tools

  • Stand, walk, and work on your feet for several hours at a time 

  • Communicate well with customers, managers, and fellow workers 

  • Have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to use dangerous equipment and tools

  • Perform the job in both hot, cold, and/or damp climate

  • Handle getting dirty as part of the job
