Apprenticeship is a proven training strategy that improves the skills of our workforce and enhances the efficiency and productivity of our industries. Investment in the registered apprenticeship system is a wise use of govenment dollars, and pays for itself many times over. As the nation faces a critical shortage of skilled workers, expanding apprenticeship opportunities offers an effective approach to meet the needs of industry and our citizens in search of high-quality training and good jobs.
Registered apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with related classroom instruction to prepare highly skilled workers for American industry. Apprenticeship, a proven training strategy that prepares skilled workers, helps America compete more effectively in the global economy, and contributes to our economic development, sustained economic growth and national security.
Earn your Certificate of Completion from the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council during this 4-year program. In the machining industry, it’s like earning your Bachelor’s Degree! Learn Machine Theory, Industrial Blueprint Reading, Basic Math through Trigonometry, Geometric Tolerance and more. You must be employed in the Machining Industry to verify your work experience.

Learn Math, Blueprint Reading, Hydraulics, Sheet Metal, Metrology, and Industrial Electricity through Programmable Logistic Controls, Welding, Machining, CPR & First Aid, Troubleshooting, Plumbing, Automotive Repair and more. You must be employed in the Maintenance or Mechanic Industry to verify work experience. August 18, 2021– May 10, 2021.
