Talent Ready Grant
The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) has awarded Buckeye Career Center funds under the TALENT READY GRANT PROGRAM to provide direct financial grants to help cover the cost of tuition and fees for students enrolled in certificate programs to meet the needs of our Regional businesses and industries.
This grant is designed to support students participating in a program that will lead to earning a certificate through classes that are less than 30 credit hours, or 900 seat hours, and that can be completed in less than one year while providing funding up to $3000 for a credential class. These grants are part of a program which has limited funds that will be awarded until funds are exhausted. THIS IS NOT A NEED BASED GRANT.
To be considered, interested students must:
Be an Ohio resident.
Registered with Selective Service if a male 18-26 years old
Submit the Talent Ready Grant Application either online or via this form
Enroll in one of the certificates listed below at Buckeye Career Center.
