Awards Ceremony practice will be held at BCC on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in two sessions:

8:00 AM – For labs included in the Tuesday ceremony
9:00 AM – For labs included in the Wednesday ceremony

This practice is mandatory for all participating students, including School-to-Work students. Please plan ahead to ensure you can attend your assigned session.

If you are unsure which session to attend, please check with the office or your instructors.

Job of the day: Hilscher-Clarke Electric Company is hosting a Career Exploration Open House on May 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at their manufacturing facility located at 4676 Erie Ave SW in Navarre. This event is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as anyone interested in exploring a career in the electrical industry, with no experience required. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about careers in the field, see a typical work environment, meet team members, and participate in on-site interviews. Resumes are preferred but not required, and attendees should wear closed-toe shoes and jeans. This is a great opportunity to explore a hands-on career path and connect with industry professionals.

As we reflect on last night's successful Project Lead the Way Showcase, we can't forget to highlight our own BCC students who earned plaques!

The team of Duane Yoder (Garaway), Joshua Spencer (BCC), and Jaylyn Young (Indian Valley) competed in the Introduction to Engineering Design category, earning second place. Additionally, the team of Jackson Rice (BCC) and Hunter Zelenak (Dover) competed in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, also earning second place at the showcase.
