Job of the day: Hilscher-Clarke Electric Company is hosting a Career Exploration Open House on May 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at their manufacturing facility located at 4676 Erie Ave SW in Navarre. This event is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as anyone interested in exploring a career in the electrical industry, with no experience required. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about careers in the field, see a typical work environment, meet team members, and participate in on-site interviews. Resumes are preferred but not required, and attendees should wear closed-toe shoes and jeans. This is a great opportunity to explore a hands-on career path and connect with industry professionals.

Our Law Enforcement students rolled up their sleeves and got to work unloading and setting the stage for the SkillsUSA competition at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. From heavy lifting to teamwork, they’re proving the competition starts long before the first event begins.
