“Everyone talks about loyalty until it is inconvenient. Everyone loves honesty until it hurts their feelings. Everyone supports you until you start doing better than them. Your real friends won’t switch up when life gets uncomfortable; they show up stronger.”

Our Auto Collision and Auto Technology students had the opportunity to hear from Amber McBride, co-owner of McBride Auto Service and H&M Collision. Today was "Mace Day" for our Law Enforcement students. More accurately known as Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray training, it is a standard part of law enforcement training. It’s designed to familiarize recruits with the effects of pepper spray and ensure they can still function, communicate, and defend themselves if exposed in a real-world situation.
Our students went through OC exposure and then completed a full course that ended in handcuffing—pushing through every challenge along the way. This isn’t easy, but it’s an important step for those pursuing a career in law enforcement, and they earned that experience today.
A huge shoutout to our Fire/EMS students for being there every step of the way. They were flushing eyes, assisting with recovery, and following up with each student afterward. With Law Enforcement instructor Mr. Fetty and classmates cheering them on, everyone dug deep and finished strong.
More photos will be added to a Facebook album soon.
