Special Announcement Regarding Monday AND Tuesday for BCC Students:
Buckeye Career Center will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. This is for both high school and all adult education classes. Buckeye Career Center high school classes are also canceled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, as well. Adult Education morning classes will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday. Evening classes will remain operate as normal on Tuesday.

Our level two Introduction to Nursing students practiced their phlebotomy skills today. They have the opportunity to earn their phlebotomy certification through this program. Training includes working with both phlebotomy arms and real veins. Today was extra special, our Principal, Mr. Fockler, volunteered to have his blood drawn by his daughter, and our Career Connector, Mrs. Beaber, had her blood drawn by her son! #BuckeyeProud!
Students in our Medical Academy are learning how to assist a patient at risk for swelling and blood clots by properly applying a compression sock as part of hands-on patient care training. #BuckeyeProud!
Our level one Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration lab has been learning how to design and build using sheet metal, developing skills that are essential in the field.

Buckeye Career Center is happy to celebrate Mr. Frank Polen, who was named the 2025 Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year! Several of our administrators attended last evening's ceremony to honor Frank and the other awardees! Mr. Polen serves as BCC's director of curriculum, instruction, & adult education, but spends countless hours volunteering for the chamber and other organizations within our area! #BuckeyeProud!
