Our marketing department recently held an ice cream party for our student ambassadors and others who assisted with marketing events, recruitment, and career carnivals throughout the school year! This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Buckeye Career Center’s Welding students were proud to give back to those who have served by completing a special project for the New Philadelphia VFW Post 1445. Students designed and fabricated a custom metal frame to hold a digital display sign on the VFW’s parade vehicle. The project isn’t finished yet as the vehicle will return to BCC this fall so students can add collapsible stairs to the unit.
We are grateful for the opportunity to support our local veterans!

This school year, 576 high school students were trained and certified in CPR while 166 Adult Education students also earned the certification. That’s a grand total of 742 individuals prepared to step up in an emergency and make a difference in their communities. We’re proud to help build safer schools, workplaces, and communities through hands-on training and education!
