New Philadelphia, OH (April 21, 2025) – Members of Buckeye Career Center’s (BCC) HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter have qualified for the HOSA International Leadership Conference on June 18-21, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, following top placings at state.

First place winners include Elaina Fox (Exercise Science/Ohio Connections Academy) in Health Career Photography; Montana Cox (Intro to Nursing/Carrollton) in Clinical Nursing; Drew Graziani (Exercise Science/ Dover) in Speaking Skills; and the team of Mylie Galigher (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley), Brady Gibb (Exercise Science/Dover), Morgan Karam (Intro to Nursing/Dover), Brianna Richardson (Exercise Science/New Phila), Kamryn Shaw (Exercise Science/Carrollton), and Alyson Perry (Intro to Nursing/Tusky Valley) in Parliamentary Procedure.

Second place winners include Autumn Finn (Intro to Nursing/New Phila) in Clinical Nursing and the team of the team of Natalie Brooks (Pharmacy Technician/Carrollton), Hannah Secrist (Intro to Nursing/New Philadelphia), Haley Allbritain (Intro to Nursing/Carrollton), and Heaven Amore (Pharmacy Technician/Newcomerstown) in HOSA Bowl.

Third place winners include Aubrie Fawcett in Clinical Nursing (Intro to Nursing/Indian Valley) and the team of Patricia Frenton (Pharmacy Technician/Newcomerstown), Josh Lehman (Pharmacy Technician/Tusky Valley), Angelica Perez-Hernandez (Pharmacy Technician/Dover), Jenna Kandel (Intro to Nursing/Dover), Jemimah Mumba (Pharmacy Technician/Strasburg), and Roxy Tapscott (Pharmacy Technician/Carrollton) in Parliamentary Procedure.

Delilah Williams placed 10th in the Healthcare Issues Exam and advances to the international competition.

In total, 56 BCC HOSA members competed at the Ohio HOSA Leadership Conference in Toledo, April 9-10, 2025. The students are instructed by Mr. Lucas Grove (Intro to Nursing), Mr. Jamey Harlan (Exercise Science), Mrs. Gail Sleighter (Medical Assisting), and Mrs. Michelle Loibl (Pharmacy Technician).
