New Philadelphia, OH (January 30, 2025) – Members of Buckeye Career Center’s (BCC) HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter have qualified for the Ohio HOSA State Leadership Conference following top placings at regionals on January 25, 2025. The event was hosted at BCC.
First place winners include Autumn Finn (Intro to Nursing/New Phila) in Clinical Nursing; Kayleigh Cassidy (Medical Assisting/Conotton Valley) in Medical Assisting; Audrey Deem (Intro to Nursing/Carrollton) in Respiratory Therapy; Lainey Hershberger (Exercise Science/Garaway) in Life Support Skills; the team of Taylor Edie (Intro to Nursing/Conotton Valley), Bekah Fockler (Intro to Nursing/Dover), Landon Labiche (Intro to Nursing/New Phila), and Quincey Werntz (Exercise Science/Dover) in Mental Health Promotion; Elaina Fox (Exercise Science/Ohio Connections Academy) in Health Career Photography; Drew Graziani (Exercise Science/ Dover) in Speaking Skills; the team of Mallory Walton (Pharmacy Technician/Indian Valley) and Brooklyn Myers (Pharmacy Technician/ Indian Valley) in Health Career Display; and the team of Mylie Galigher (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley), Brady Gibb (Exercise Science/Dover), Morgan Karam (Intro to Nursing/Dover), Brianna Richardson (Exercise Science/New Phila), and Kamryn Shaw (Exercise Science/Carrollton) in Parliamentary Procedure.
Second place winners include Kiana Stevens (Intro to Nursing/Quaker Digital Academy) in Medical Terminology; Zoe Jump (Exercise Science/Garaway) in Occupational Therapy; Delilah Williams (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley) in Healthcare Issues Exam; Madison Shull (Intro to Nursing/Garaway) in Clinical Nursing; Jordan Crank (Intro to Nursing/Tusky Valley) in Personal Care; the team of Lilly Booth (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley), Jenica Frutig (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley), Bella Higgins (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley), and Adda Spivey (Exercise Science/Tusky Valley) in Mental Health Promotion; and the team of Patricia Frenton (Pharmacy Technician/Newcomerstown), Josh Lehman (Pharmacy Technician/Tusky Valley), Angelica Perez-Hernandez (Pharmacy Technician/Dover), Jenna Kandel (Intro to Nursing/Dover), Jemimah Mumba (Pharmacy Technician/Strasburg), and Roxy Tapscott (Pharmacy Technician/Carrollton) in Parliamentary Procedure.
