    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Negotiates with suppliers for pricing/terms.
    2. Executes purchase orders.
    3. Expedites orders to meet production requirements.
    4. Sources parts, material, equipment and facility supplies.
    5. Initiates and issues purchase orders.
    6. Monitors inventory.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with five years of purchasing or 10 years equivalent purchasing experience
    • Five to ten years experience purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of MRP and ERP software systems.

    Responsible for all electrical and electronic design for custom truck chassis and systems. This includes all schematic development, harness documentation, software programming and installation instructions.


    Requirements

    • Creates layout and detail drawings for new assemblies.
    • Creates new designs, utilizing market-based sources, keeping manufacturing and service functions in mind.
    • Minimizes assembly time and costs.
    • Designs with end customers in mind.
    • Design prototype mechanisms for review.
    • Designs and documents electrical control systems.
    • Troubleshoots and repairs in timely manner for customers or production floor.
    • Programs engine and chassis electronic control modules. Draws rough sketches and performs mathematical computations to develop design and work out detailed specifications of components.
    • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
    • Must be willing to travel approx. 25%
    • Education:
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and one year minimum experience in Electrical design.
