    • Previous experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator welcomed
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
    • Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
    • Able to sit and view a computer screen for long periods
    • Able to lift 30 pounds
    • Able to stand for extended periods of time.

    Serves as initial contact for inquiries pertaining to recreation lease documents and prepares all legal documents pertaining to same. Provides administrative support to members of Recreation Group as needed, including composing and preparation of correspondence, organization and upkeep of recreation lease filing systems including electronic and hard copy files, databases and other tools that increase department efficiency. Collects payments and prepares reports on lease and related transactions. Assists Finance department when composing correspondence for delinquent accounts and reviews lease billings prior to mailings. Maintains and updates lessee list, consent and agreement list, lessee conference materials and distributes to realtors and appropriate others.
    Responsible for maintaining the MWCD Land Register.


    Requirements

    • Minimum of high school graduate.
    • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
    • Secretarial and general office experience is required.
    • Legal secretary or real estate transaction education/experience is preferred.
    • Experience working with legal documents and knowledge of legal terminology and/or real estate transactions is preferred.
    • Strong communication and people skills, particularly business writing skills, are required.
    • Basic typing, office equipment, bookkeeping, and word processing skills are required.
